I spent the entire nap time watching the monitor because Madison was the first to make an escape from her crib. The day after their birthday I was enjoying my peace and quiet when I was startled by a painful cry coming from the bedroom. I ran down the hallway and threw open the door. To my surprise, I find Madison sprawled out on the floor. She had climbed out and I assume fell to the floor and if that wasn't traumatic enough I slammed the doorknob into her head as I came to the rescue! I won't ever forget that sweet, sad face as I picked her up off the floor. The next day I was able to record this gem. She seemed ready to get up, but not willing to risk another freedom run!
