15 Month Pictures

So let me just start by saying, I have been exhausted lately!  Turns out by allowing the babies more independence I am now required to be on my toes all the time...if it's not a baby I'm chasing after it's a mess I am cleaning up they've left in their paths.  With that out there, let me also state, I love it and couldn't imagine it any other way!
Now that the weather is more bearable I've reintroduced the babies to the backyard!  I've also been able to open the blinds in the daytime without it raising the temperature in the house 10 degrees.  YAY!  This time of year makes all those hot summer days seem like a foggy memory.   As usual since I am behind on my blogging I will go ahead and add our 15 month check-up update.  The children are all doing great.  They still are not walking, but the doctor is not concerned with this at all.  They have all three made huge strides with this even in the past week; I think playing outside teaches the kids a valuable lesson--contact with the ground hurts!  They are really vocal these days as well and we are starting to understand each of them (at least some of the time)!  They play well together but it often ends with a fight over a specific toy. You might think I just need three of everything, but this isn't the case because they will only want the one the other baby has, this leads me to believe I am in for a world of trouble.  Now for the stats:
Madison is 22 lbs 10.5 oz--50th % and 32 inches tall 90th %
Tyler is 26 lbs 10 oz--75th % and 33 inches tall 92nd %
Carter is 23 lbs 4 oz--45th % and 33 inches tall 92nd %

We've had lots of fun this past month so here you go!

Out and About

These past couple weeks we have been very busy...We've been to story time at the Rowlett library, Willowbend Mall to see circus clowns and Berenstain Bears, the splash park at Harry Myers Park.  We have really been trying hard to beat this heat but lately its been tough to do! Thankfully we have found many indoor activities and water to splash around in.  We even figured out ways to make eating at home fun!

This is our new art project for desert.  Mom let us play with our yogurt...we even got a few bites in our mouths!

Here is where we went to see the circus clowns at Willowbend. Erin brought Garrett and Elizabeth and we met a bunch of our neighbor friends and our friends from PAMOM!  We had a whole group and we got there early enough to sit on the carpet.  It got so crowded though that we got blocked in.  We sat down there for almost 2 hours!  It's a good thing they gave us some fun hats and mom brought lots of snacks!

I'm not sure what scared her, but
Elizabeth was having nothing to do with these clowns!

My kids however thought they were really interesting!
Harry Myers Splash Park with Elizabeth and Garrett, the Cox quads, Hickey triplets, Tew triplets and Britton, and Key triplets! Yes, this is 6 mommas and 19 children...I can only imagine what the other moms at the park were saying about us!

Who needs a splash park when you have a mud puddle?

Madison's ingenious way of telling me she is finished eating.
If she didn't look so cute I might be mad because I had just washed her hair!

A room with colorful mats on the floor...$100
Many, many many toys to fill it...$250
The toy your sibling is playing with...Priceless!

Pow-wow in the kitchen

New hats from the Berenstain Bears Show...free to all who showed up!
Tyler loved his and the other two wouldn't wear them!

I guess he's not a giraffe man!

Seems to be taking after his Uncle Phillip,
with the hat covering his eyes!

Need I explain this?  She must have seen something shiny!

Or they just think everything is a comfy seat!

Summertime Fun!

This will be our 13 and 14 month pictures!  Not much to say but that we are having a blast and this Texas heat is down right HOT!  We have been doing great and having lots of fun all summer long.  Unfortunately we have caught a couple stomach bugs this past month so have been somewhat contained in the house, keeping Mommy VERY busy with laundry and sterilizing after three sick kiddos.  I have to say that first time was bad, but as I thought it most definitely can always be worse!  One more thing I've learned is that those people who say, "Oh, it will get easier!" are LIARS!  My life has been getting busier by the week!  I'm afraid of them walking, but I'm QUICKLY preparing myself and the house because the time is coming soon!

Here's a snapshot of the past couple months!

"Dress like a Cow" day at Chick-fil-a

One of our last rides in our infant car seats!  Sure seems like a tight fit to me!

She thinks she's cool in her big kid car seat!

Baby jail...such a hard life they live!

Now if she wasn't wearing that one of a kind shirt
I would swear this is not my kid!
Funny picture I think, she should love it later on in life!

Adorable!

Don't let this spoon in his hand full you,
he is still the king of messes!

And his true colors shine!

I heard screaming from the playroom, upon my arrival
I see Tyler stuck...what do I do?
Run and get my camera...
like any good mom would do, right?

We had a police car, a fire truck and ambulance show up to our block party....
Madison was the only one awake to come see all the excitement!

Reighyn and her baby!

Back floating with Daddy!

Hanging out with our friend Emerson!

Meeting some of Grandma's friends
