10 Month Pictures

As always a little late...

We've been really busy the past month...the babies are officially all mobile!  Baby-proofing the house has been one of our major projects.  Although not quite there, I think we are making some big steps towards being baby friendly.  We now have a fence blocking the playroom.  Jeremy has some time off work for the next week so we will be getting all the cabinets, doors and drawers locked.  We also had to lower the cribs because a certain boy named Tyler has begun to pull himself up when he is tired of sleeping.  It's really cute when he wakes up and does this...not the same story when he gets up before falling asleep; he hasn't quite mastered getting back down so once he's up he let's you know with a loud screaming fit (it's amazing the other two can sleep through these)that he's ready to get back down!
Tyler is still winning the tooth race with a whopping 6 teeth, Madison now has 3 and we're still waiting for Carter to pop out his first!  In the crawling game Madison is the quickest little munchkin, she has gotten from one side of the room to the other in the amount of time it takes to pick up bottles and walk back to the room.  She has mastered the army crawl but still gets up on all fours from time to time.  Tyler and Carter prefer the traditional crawl and are moving quicker each day!
We have been to a couple outside places like the Dallas Zoo and the Arboretum since the weather has been so nice, but I am so excited about RSV season coming to an end, this winter has seemed like forever!  We have gotten into a routine of going and sitting outside each evening with a neighbor of ours.  Slowly but surely everyone seems to be getting outside a bit more!  I can't wait to start setting up play dates with everyone we have missed for so long!

Carter refused to take a nap one afternoon so he
got to sit in the kitchen with Mommy while I cooked
yummy baby food.  Does he seem to be having a good time?

After the other two came to join, we all sat in the kitchen for a bit.
This was one of he last times I have used my beloved bouncer seats!
I am so sad that the babies no longer sit in them, one time shortly after this I came into find Madison completely turned around in her chair.

Luckily we haven't quite grown out of these just yet!

We take lots of walks to feed the ducks at the ponds by our house.
This gives Mommy her much needed quiet time!

What a great group of cousins!

What a happy Lolli-Pops!

We went to the Arboretum with the Tew triplets and the Key Triplets.

Ballew-Berries and the beautiful tulips!

Carter eating whole green beans for the first time!

Such a big girl and she seems so proud!

Who would have thought Tyler would turn
out to be the pickiest eater?!?

I heard Madison being more rambunctious than normal one afternoon, I guess it's
a good thing I checked on her...this could have been a big mess!
Mental note--always put pants over diaper at nap time!

We are finally big enough to ride in our Choo Choo Wagon!
Thank you again Bubba and Grandma for the
wonderful Christmas present as you can tell we love it!

This was a practice run...we went down the
driveway and did a few circles in front of the house!

Now the boys will really be able to check out the kids skateboarding
in front of the house.  I think the stroller blocked their view.

As you can tell they are very comfortable in their new ride already!

Love this picture!

Now this was an exciting outing...we braved the zoo with
the Cox quads and the Tew triplets.  I'm very happy we aren't
big enough to get out of the stroller just yet, that is gonna be a
whole new ball-game for Momma!

They really enjoyed looking at all the new stuff.  I think they may
have even checked out a few animals! ;)~

We got these cute as can be outfits from aunt Amanda!
As you can see we have worn them often...I swear my children have
more than one outfit!

Our new big kid toys!

You can tell that they really love them!
Thanks Angela for the great hook-up!

Tyler is looking a little jealous of Carter!

Me and my boys just hanging out in the front yard!

Feed us please!

Ok I'll smile for you...just get me some food!

Our first big kid pajamas!  Thanks Maggie! We sure love them!

So here we are another month older...our birthday will be here before you know it.

9 Month Check-Up

We took the babies to their 9 month check-up last week and Dr. Granger is very pleased with all three of their growths!  The boys are the same height at 29 1/2 inches measuring in the 85th percentile.  Madison is a touch shorter at 29 inches even but is in the 90th percentile for the girls.  Their weights were a bit more shocking to me.  Madison weighs 18lbs 10oz and comes in the 50th percentile. Tyler is keeping the gap, he weighs 22lbs 4oz and hits in at the 80th percentile and our skinny man, Carter weighs 18lbs 14oz measuring in the 25th percent range.  We are very proud of our little angels.  I look at them everyday and think, where has the time gone?  Other than that we have stayed pretty busy mostly at home, I am taking the babies out for more walks now that the weather is so pleasant.  We are almost in the clear for the RSV season and it seems we have made it through so far with only a couple colds.  We had our first LONG night last night as Madison and Carter woke up several times crying because of runny noses. :(
We are very happy that two new friends have arrived to play with the trio.  Happy Birthday Curtis and Garrett we look forward to meeting you both soon!

First bath...I only had two bath rings so I tried to keep a hand on Tyler.
Not the easiest of ventures and we found another way to make do...

Bumbo's have proved to be multi-purposeful! I think its easier to bathe
in the Bumbo, so I decided not to even get another ring.

They really enjoy splashing around in the water.

Who's that cute couple?  They look to be ready for a crazy night!
We went to the PaMOM Gala and had a wonderful time!

Valentine's Day Picnic

Well the babies spent the night with Lolli last night, while Pops was at the farm.  Jeremy and I got to as usual run errands and shop for baby stuff!  Story of our lives, right?  Anytime we get free time this is what we do. My babe did take me out to a wonderful dinner and we had a very nice time eating and talking about adult stuff, (the babies may have come up once or twice). Today, Jeremy let me stay in bed and he went and picked up the little ones from Lolli's...on his way home I told him I had a surprise for him...The babies and I took Daddy on a picnic!  It was a touch chilly, but nothing compared to these past two weeks of crazy weather, so we put hoods on and off we went to the park!  They seemed to love being outdoors.  They kept glancing at the pond and the ducks.  I can't wait to take them here this summer.  We have ponds in our neighborhood all filled with ducks that love to eat whatever you have to throw!  I'm not sure who is going to fall in the pond first but I have my suspicions it will be Carter!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, we hope you have as much fun as we are having! Love You!

Happy Valentine's Day! Love, Madison, Tyler and Carter
This could be a poster ad for the Peg Perego Stroller...maybe I ought to send it in, we could model our way to preschool!

Tyler was not going to smile for me today!

Brotherly love!

So hard to get all eyes open!

Love this picture, look at that pure innocence!

She kicks her shoes off as fast as I get them on!

And I think that means we are done!

Super Bowl Fun

We watched the babies' first super bowl at home.  Jeremy and I made a BUNCH of food and probably ate more than we needed.  The babies had a good time because they got to play with their toys and watch TV!  I still think that Madison is the most focused on the TV.  I think she gets it from her Daddy, as soon as it is turned on she will do whatever it takes to turn herself around to stare at it.  All in all we were a touch disappointed by the commercials although some were really funny...but onto the good stuff here are some pictures!

Yes, I did put sweet Madison in boy's overalls...
but she made them look cute with her pink onesie!

"MOM?!? We're trying to watch the game here!  Enough photos!"

I think she is motioning for me to get out of the way here!

Snow-Cation

I think we were all excited Monday night at the possibility of snow on Tuesday, and as we woke up to the rain, thunder, lightening, and sleet we should have known our winter weather was here to stay.  Day One in the house Jeremy didn't go to work.  Then the temp just kept dropping and Wednesday morning we awoke to still ice covered streets.  Day Two Jeremy left after nap time so he could work a couple hours then stay at my parents to be able to make it to work on Thursday.  The babies and I started out on our long homebound experience!  Day Three streets are still covered with ice and now we expect 1-2 inches of snow tonight.  I stayed up and noticed snow falling several hours before it was expected.  I think when I went to sleep we had about 1-2 inches.  Upon waking up I see our very own winter wonderland!  It must have been at least 6 inches.  Day Four mission was set into place...I will build a snowman in the front yard.  After cold fingers, knees, and toes my sweet neighbors and I finished and I was able to come back inside to my warm and comfortable pajamas.  Day Five Jeremy is working again, but he's coming home tonight...YAY!  And after a day of sunshine and 40+ degree weather it seems we may be getting back to normal...at least until Wednesday, when we expect more SNOW!

Jeremy feeding all three babies so I could have some free time!

I guess Tyler got cold, he pulled his blanket down
on top of him and tucked himself in!

This is the view from the front door.

This is about 24 hours after we built him!
It's a good thing we played in the snow yesterday,
it doesn't seem to stick around very long.

This was Saturday night before the snow
came at Jemma's meet the baby party.

This is how we feed now!  So sad...yet so convenient!
