Valentine's Day Picnic

Well the babies spent the night with Lolli last night, while Pops was at the farm.  Jeremy and I got to as usual run errands and shop for baby stuff!  Story of our lives, right?  Anytime we get free time this is what we do. My babe did take me out to a wonderful dinner and we had a very nice time eating and talking about adult stuff, (the babies may have come up once or twice). Today, Jeremy let me stay in bed and he went and picked up the little ones from Lolli's...on his way home I told him I had a surprise for him...The babies and I took Daddy on a picnic!  It was a touch chilly, but nothing compared to these past two weeks of crazy weather, so we put hoods on and off we went to the park!  They seemed to love being outdoors.  They kept glancing at the pond and the ducks.  I can't wait to take them here this summer.  We have ponds in our neighborhood all filled with ducks that love to eat whatever you have to throw!  I'm not sure who is going to fall in the pond first but I have my suspicions it will be Carter!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone, we hope you have as much fun as we are having! Love You!

Happy Valentine's Day! Love, Madison, Tyler and Carter
This could be a poster ad for the Peg Perego Stroller...maybe I ought to send it in, we could model our way to preschool!

Tyler was not going to smile for me today!

Brotherly love!

So hard to get all eyes open!

Love this picture, look at that pure innocence!

She kicks her shoes off as fast as I get them on!

And I think that means we are done!

Super Bowl Fun

We watched the babies' first super bowl at home.  Jeremy and I made a BUNCH of food and probably ate more than we needed.  The babies had a good time because they got to play with their toys and watch TV!  I still think that Madison is the most focused on the TV.  I think she gets it from her Daddy, as soon as it is turned on she will do whatever it takes to turn herself around to stare at it.  All in all we were a touch disappointed by the commercials although some were really funny...but onto the good stuff here are some pictures!

Yes, I did put sweet Madison in boy's overalls...
but she made them look cute with her pink onesie!

"MOM?!? We're trying to watch the game here!  Enough photos!"

I think she is motioning for me to get out of the way here!

Snow-Cation

I think we were all excited Monday night at the possibility of snow on Tuesday, and as we woke up to the rain, thunder, lightening, and sleet we should have known our winter weather was here to stay.  Day One in the house Jeremy didn't go to work.  Then the temp just kept dropping and Wednesday morning we awoke to still ice covered streets.  Day Two Jeremy left after nap time so he could work a couple hours then stay at my parents to be able to make it to work on Thursday.  The babies and I started out on our long homebound experience!  Day Three streets are still covered with ice and now we expect 1-2 inches of snow tonight.  I stayed up and noticed snow falling several hours before it was expected.  I think when I went to sleep we had about 1-2 inches.  Upon waking up I see our very own winter wonderland!  It must have been at least 6 inches.  Day Four mission was set into place...I will build a snowman in the front yard.  After cold fingers, knees, and toes my sweet neighbors and I finished and I was able to come back inside to my warm and comfortable pajamas.  Day Five Jeremy is working again, but he's coming home tonight...YAY!  And after a day of sunshine and 40+ degree weather it seems we may be getting back to normal...at least until Wednesday, when we expect more SNOW!

Jeremy feeding all three babies so I could have some free time!

I guess Tyler got cold, he pulled his blanket down
on top of him and tucked himself in!

This is the view from the front door.

This is about 24 hours after we built him!
It's a good thing we played in the snow yesterday,
it doesn't seem to stick around very long.

This was Saturday night before the snow
came at Jemma's meet the baby party.

This is how we feed now!  So sad...yet so convenient!

First Play Date with Jemma!

We had our first real play date with Jemma.  Rebecca brought her over to Lolli-Pops house while we were there yesterday.  The babies are really interested in this new smaller person.  When Jemma cries they just stare at her (I really wonder what they are thinking!).  While we had them on the mat I think Jemma got overwhelmed by her big cousins' curiosity.  Madison wanted to know what all her hair was, Tyler grabbed at her face and Carter just wanted to observe from afar.

Look at how we all match!

Madison wondering what all this dark stuff is...

Just being sweet trying to share her ball.

Poor Jemma seems happier with a little space.

Such loud noises coming from someone so small!

Four cute as can be babies!

Sorry for the relaxed blogging schedule! I will get back into my routine, the holidays and a busy January have kept me from my duties. :( We have so much to be thankful for and are blessed with the three most amazing babies.  I can't believe how time is flying though, it makes me tear up to look back at their hospital pictures. We love you all and hope you're having a great New Year!

Christmas Day

The babies had a wonderful first Christmas!  Carter stayed up late waiting for Santa Clause, so we had to wake the babies up Christmas morning.  Grandma came to visit for our first Christmas.  We had quite a busy day but we started our day out at home and went to see that Santa had filled our stockings with fun stuff and brought a slide for the babies!  They love sliding down the slide and I'm sure will love it even more when they can do it on their own.  We traveled over to Lolli-Pops to have brunch and a Wii tournament with the Taylor family.  Everyone had a blast playing Mario Kart and Rock Band!  After eating and playing all morning we moved to Amanda's house for Christmas dinner with the Watson's.  Here we had a yummy meal and then started a new tradition of reading the Christmas story from the Bible, this year my grandfather graced us with the story.  Afterwards, we carried on our old tradition of a rousing white elephant gift exchange, where I almost walked out with an iTunes gift card...but instead I got Marcy and JT's wedding gift!  We had a great first Christmas with the babies and they sure were ready for bed that night!  Thanks to everyone for the awesome day!
