We couldn't have had a better first Easter! We were able to spend the weekend with family and friends who were very excited to attend the babies dedication at our church, The Heights Baptist. First, Aunt Cindy and Uncle Jason came to spend the day with us the weekend before Easter. Then Mark and Alana flew in to spend a few days with us! We had so much fun, we took the babies out to eat and they sat in highchairs for the first time at restaurants! I will have to add these pictures later because they are not on my camera. On Saturday--we took our neighbors, Alana and the babies to hunt easter eggs at the Eggstravaganza at the church! They had a blast...they hunted eggs, pet animals and bounced in the bounce houses! Needless to say we had a long afternoon nap. Sunday morning we got up super early so that we could get to the church early. We got to speak with the preacher and introduce all the babies to him. He was quite concerned about getting the boys' names correct. I was a bit nervous about how quiet the babies would be at the beginning of the service, but they were rockstars! Madison kept the family entertained by sticking her tongue out at them and laughing and playing; Carter was enamored by all the lights and music; Tyler just seemed to be in shock about everything going on so he was very quiet. After we left church we returned home and grilled lots of food and had a wonderfully relaxing Sunday afternoon!
They decided to check out each other's baskets! |
